Your course tutor Belinda, is a freelance photographer with over twenty years’ experience. She has undertaken a wide variety of projects throughout the world and in the UK, she has substantial experience in commissioned work, having covered most areas of portraiture, commercial and events photography. Her fine art photography has been exhibited and sold in galleries and with international online markets. The qualifications she holds in photography are an honours Degree and Master’s Degree, she also has a Post Graduate Certificate in Education.

In addition to her professional practice, she has been lecturing in photography and post-production for over twenty years. Students she has been lecturing to have been adults wanting to become professionals as well as complete beginners. Also, she teaches privately for companies and individuals and creates programmes for their individual needs. One of the highlights in her teaching was to receive certificates in recognition of excellent teaching and training, which led to two of her students being awarded medals of excellence.

Learn at your own pace so that you have full control and are able to fit your learning around modern life. Courses are delivered using a wide range of materials, such as videos, handouts, practicals and exercises. These are structured so each element of photography and post-production is broken down in order gain full understanding. There is also a tutor support email for when you need one-to-one support.

The emphasis is on learning by doing; handouts are given for all topics to allow you to review techniques after each session. Detailed videos and slides give additional explanations and can be paused or replayed when required.
